The Centre For Creative Living (CFCL) is a cooperative “food bank for the soul” whose purpose is to nurture one another’s natural ability to live and work creatively, contemplatively and joyfully. We provide various groups designed to foster creativity in a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals can practice their art, develop their skills and form connections with others who share similar interests. Most are self-managed with guidance from a volunteer mentor. A volunteer coordinator oversees CFCL as a whole. CFCL values spiritual freedom, providing lots of space for people to develop their creative expression whether beginners or people who have practiced their art for a long time.
CFCL, as a nonprofit, is working in cooperation with St. Paul’s Anglican Church where the activities are held. Individuals participate in CFCL by purchasing an annual membership which entitles them to attend any of the creative circles. Presently the fee is $125. A separate fee is charged for yoga. Occasionally we offer fee-based workshops as well. These are open to both members and non members. CFCL is dedicated to inclusiveness, affordability and cooperative learning. Financial assistance is offered to those who cannot afford the fees.
Your annual membership allows you to take part in all of our creative practice circles:
